Art and Peace: Opening Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
As seen through the eyes of friends, Gagnon, Lipchitz, Braque, and Picasso, this s pecial opening exhibit will be held on March 29, 2026. This will be called Art and Peace and feature Chuck's friendship with Jacques Lipchitz, a Lithuanian-born French-American Cubist sculptor. Lipchitz retained highly figurative and legible components in his wo rk. See original works by Lipchitz, Braque & Picasso. February 2026 Newsletter Dear friends, This year we are focusing on friendship and peace. Chuck's mentor was Jacques Lipchitz. They were good friends and during the 1970's Jacques gave Chuck a series of lithographs of his sculptures as a thank you for Chuck's assistance at the art foundry. Gagnon Museum and Sculpture Garden, Thank you for your support of our beautiful museum that continues to offer the fine art of bronze sculpture created by Rochester, Minnesota sculptor, Chuck Gagnon.
