July Newsletter 2025
Dear Friends,

It’s 87 degrees today so it must be summer. We are planning a unique, first-time event in the museum and sculpture garden on Sunday, August 17th from 1 to 4pm. The name of this special exhibition is “Discovery.” Last year we discovered Chuck’s sculpture graphics that were unsigned and unnumbered. He passed away before signing and numbering the three original sculpture graphics which are based on three of his beautiful bronze sculptures.
The first sculpture graphic which is a work of art on paper is “St Francis.” The second sculpture graphic is “This Spirit of Peace” and the third is “The String Quartet.” Through the hard work of Michelle Krona, who drove down from the Twin Cities every week for 6 months to number and stamp our newly discovered sculpture graphics, we can now have an exhibition of them.
We will send out invitations to this event this week. Please put it on your calendar for next month and we will look forward to seeing you there.
The August 17th opening will also include Italian cuisine and live music by Ben Gateno who is a well-known classical guitarist. I will also give a short gallery talk sharing the story of how and why the sculpture graphics were created by Chuck before he passed away in 2012. These newly discovered works of art on paper will be available for sale. I hope you are enjoying a beautiful and happy summer with you and your family and friends. Cheers!!
Arlyn
