“I have followed the creative development of [Charles E. Gagnon’s] sculpture… I have seen the growth from his early small work to his larger life size and monumental bronze sculptures. His sculpture becomes stronger, while the forms become freer. His unlimited potential is matched by his enthusiasm and good work. He can make a great contribution to art in the world. He is a very gifted sculptor.”

Jacques Lipchitz, Sculptor (1891-1973)
